This brings out alot of desperation to those who don’t have any job to hold on in order to avoid such kind of behavior.

Considering the report given, the detectives proceeded to the Gatitu shopping centre where they nabbed the suspects’ accomplice, 32-year-old David Thinwa Ngatia.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Ngatia was operating a mobile phone repair shop where detectives also found other stolen items which created a big signal for the suspect.

“John Kariuki and James Thuita respectively were arrested on November 1st, 2023. These happened before detectives proceeded to Gatitu shopping centre where their accomplice David Thinwa Ngatia who operated a mobile phones repair shop was ambushed without any idea of the occurrence and the recoveries were made,” narrated the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)

Among the items spotted at the same place by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation include two TV sets, three laptops, two cameras, 47 mobile subscriber sim cards, an HP printer among other different items.

As the Directorate of Criminal Investigation urged the public to be on high alert for pickpockets, the multi-agency body expressed commitment to ensure muggers face the law.

This calls out for citizens to be very careful with their items since nowadays you may not know who is about to hurm you or even abduct you, which is a bad action that shows lack of proper standards in the society.

The case will be heard on Monday.
