Nairobi Deputy Governor nominee Paul Mutunga to be vetted today.
Mutunga will appear before the 10 member select committee on Appointments which is chaired by the speaker Benson Mutura and majority leader Abdi Guyo as the vice chair.
After being sworn in last week, Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu nominated Mutunga who is currently the chief of staff as her deputy.
Members of public are also invited to attend the sitting.
Any member of the public who had information on suitability of Mutunga was to submit it before Wednesday 5pm.
Mutunga was required to submit copies of His national ID, CV, relevant academic credentials, and clearance certificate from KRA, DCI, Helb ,CRB and EACC.
Once the vetting is done, the appointment committee will table a report in the chambers for the house to adopt or reject.
