The Deputy president of Kenya Rigathi Gachagua on Wednesday chaired a Cabinet Sub- Committee meeting.
The meeting was dedicated to the implementation of Bottom -up Economic Transformation Agenda. (BETA)
The meeting is held at his Home place at Karen Residence was attended by cabinet secretaries from specific ministries in the government.
The meeting comes after DP Gachagua return to Kenya, following his first week visit to Germany, where he held meeting with different stakeholders who pledged support for job creation and innovation in Kenya.
Partnership with the Free State of Bavaria that was announced by Dp Gachagua on October 29, it showed Kenya being adopted into Bavaria Strategy for Africa aims to bolster Kenya sustainable economic growth and development in a higher rate. The development rooted from a meeting between Rigathi and minister for European and international Affairs of the free state of Bavaria Melanie Humble in Munich, Germany.
In the discussion, Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and Huml exploded collaboration in several sectors including the sector of Renewable Energy, Labour Migration, sports development, education, exchange program and tourism in which Rigathi expressed his emotions for the joint implementation of action points geared towards sustainable development. The representation of Kenya at Bavaria by the DP Gachagua shows a long standing of more than 60 years of gracious relationship between Kenya and Bavaria.
Bavaria is now the second development partner in Kenyan’s social-economic transformation.
Linking to populary known as X (Twitter),the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua emphasized the importance of strategic consolation and review of decision within various ministries to ensure effective service delivery of the given agenda.
” For a people- centered implementation of the Bottom -up Economic Transformation Agenda through interministered strategic consultation and review of decision, this is crucial. It is always us to make use of the necessary and timely adjustment for effective and efficient service delivery,” Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua said.
The cautionary meeting according to Dp Gachagua was aimed at reviewing and strategizing on ways to ensure the government agenda is fully administered.
