A section of Langata road was on Saturday closed after the footbridge under construction near Nyayo Stadium Roundabout collapsed.
Nairobi Police boss Joshua Omukata confirmed one driver was injured during the incident that also involved three cranes.
Langata ,Karen and Rongai Bound vehicles diverted to Bunyala Road
Omukata has advised motorist not to use that route for now.
KeNHA had issued a notice in regards to the closure of the section of the road at the Nyayo Stadium Roundabout from 4 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 12.
