Israel has recorded its first case of Florona which is a double infection of Covid19 and Influenza.
According to reports the first case was detected in a pregnant woman who was admitted to the Rabin Medical Centre to give birth. According to Israeli newspaper, the young woman was not vaccinated for the both viruses.
Florona is not a new variant but an occurrence of the flu and coronavirus at the same time.
Florona is currently being studied in Israel as they have had a surge of influenza cases in the last few weeks.
According to medics ,florona may cause a major breakdown of the immunity system as 2 viruses are entering the human body at the same time.
Israel is currently administering fourth vaccine shots against Covid19 to individuals with compromised immune system.
