Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA) has announced the closure of a section of Thika Super highway for 2 months.
In a statement released on Tuesday January 18, KENHA stated the closure is due to the ongoing construction at Kathuluni River
“A section of Thika -Garissa (A3) Road will be closed due to the ongoing construction of box culvert(KM 56+000) Kathuluni River(kwa Majini)” part of the statement reads.
The entire main road will be closed from Wednesday ,January 19, 2022 to Tuesday April 5,2022.
KENHA advised motorist to exercise caution on the road and use directions given by traffic marshals
“Motorists will use diversions provided and are requested to exercise caution around the work areas, follow management plan and the directions given by the traffic marshals.”
This comes after on Saturday January 15,KENHA announced closure at the T-mall roundabout on Langata Road.
